Pizza with real smoked ham instead of the usual flabby nonsense, and a thin crispy base baked in a clay oven. This unique little pizzeria is already a big hit. They don’t take bookings, so be prepared to wait for a table.

Although can be expensive, Korkyra is apparently as traditional a konoba as they come, say the experts. Fresh seafood, shark by the kilo, black njoki pasta are often part of its daily changing menu.

Its grilled dishes are hard to beat and it’s especially well known for its lamb meal. A great place to try some of the traditional goodies, its outdoor dining opportunity is perhaps the best in the center of town, with candle-light flickering as you move from anxious and disagreeable to smooth and charming (finally). Highly recommended.
