Info session: Cooperation in the Region – building platforms
Friday, 13.11.09, 10:00-11:30
Cultural cooperation in this region is of great importance for the independent cultural sector. The new generation of cultural organizations that emerged during the last decade started to collaborate with its peers from other countries of former Yugoslavia. This dynamic cultural collaboration is developed through an exchange of programs, partnerships and sharing of experiences and information, mostly in a form of one-time projects. In late 2004 Clubture Network initiated a collaborative platform that connects these organizations on a more stable basis. During this period Regional Initiative’s efforts were put into creating space for the exchange of artistic and cultural programs, as well as providing an open forum for discussions regarding the position of the independent sector in relevant policy frameworks. This conference is one of the results of Initiative’s orientation towards advocating matters important for this scene towards European and national decision makers. If you want to learn more and have interest in active participation in Clubture’s Regional Initiative and/or if you are willing to share experiences concerning cultural cooperation in the region, join us for this session.
