INTRO

Main goal of this pre-conference event is to map capacities of the independent cultural sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina in relations to various challenges, such are new possibilities of European funding for culture, repositioning within local cultural system, as well as the perspectives of advocating for independent cultural sector on local, national and European levels. This meeting will be organized in forms of workshops, lectures and presentations and will gather representatives of independent cultural organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina. A public discussion: Independent cultural scene and advocating for culture will also take place.

10:15 – 11:00 Meeting of the participants and mapping the current state of independent cultural scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina

11:00 – 12:15 Work with participants: Identifying key problems in independent cultural sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina – presentation and discussion
12:15-13:00 Lunch break
13:00 – 15:00 Public discussion: Independent cultural scene and advocating for culture

Public discussion will be moderated by Aida Kalender.
