INTRO
Exit Europe Skopje will gather representatives of different organizations active in the independent cultural field from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia, and participants from Kosovo. Meeting will also gather other relevant actors in the cultural field: representatives of institutions, experts, representatives of international foundations that support culture in Macedonia and in the region, cultural operators and others.

| What is the current state in the development of Macedonian cultural policies on local and national levels and internationally? Which steps have been taken, and which are yet to be? What is the perspective for Macedonia in the context of culture and how will cultural policies reflect on the overall social and political development in Macedonia? | ||

| Initiatives that took place in the region during the last decade have made real impact on local communities, engaged in advocacy on local and national levels, and enabled participation in the cultural decision making processes trough inventive practices of partnership building, advocacy and direct actions. Independent cultural scene has also made a pioneer steps in rebuilding and reshaping the role of cultural cooperation in the region. Experiences and practices will be shared during this discussion, as well as further needs and perspectives will be opened. | ||

What is the role of culture in the processes of accession to the EU? What are regional perspectives in the context of European cultural policies? What is the role of foundations in preparing the regional space for Europe? Finally, what is the role of regional initiatives? | ||
