Exit Europe – New Geographies of Culture

Ambassador Helena Drnovšek-Zorko is the Head of Division for International Cultural Relations at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to this appointment, she was the Ambassador to Ireland. A graduate in History and English from the University of Ljubljana, Ambassador Drnovšek-Zorko began her career as a History teacher and later became and advisor for culture and information activities for the Slovenian Emigrants’ Society. She joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Counsellor to the Minister in 1996. She was appointed the First Secretary and later the Counsellor at the Slovenian Embassy in Canberra.
