Work session: Drafting recommendations for cultural polices

Sunday, 15.11.09, 10:00 – 13:00

Clubture’s Regional Initiative, together with other local organizations, organized several debates in the last few years concerning needs and problems that independent cultural operators in the region are facing in their daily practice. These insights, as well as results of the conference’s pre-events in Skopje and Sarajevo, will serve us as starting points for this session during which we will discuss concrete proposals concerning development of cultural cooperation in Europe, and particularly in this region. Panels and discussions which took place previously at the Exit Europe conference will provide us with important information, background and general overview that will enable us to express political recommendations which will be suggested to policy-makers at EU institutions and to decision-makers at local and national levels in the region. In order to locate real problems and to propose adequate solutions, participation of various organizations, with their specific experiences and expertise, is necessary. Join us for this open discussion and get actively involved in the advocacy process.
